Albania

Partners Albania for Change and Development is Balkan Green Ideas National Lead based in Tirana. It is an independent Albanian NGO established in 2001, working to support civil society and facilitate inter-sector cooperation in order to strengthen democratic institutions and advance economic development. 


Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mozaik Foundation is Balkan Green Ideas National Lead based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 10-year impact which states that: “Between 2016 and 2026 Mozaik will lead the development of a breakthrough generation of entrepreneurial and innovative youth – a value-driven force that creates new social and economic value, creates new jobs and serves as a role model to other youth.” 


Greece

The local competition in Greece is organized by a partnership between two civil society organizations: 

HIGGS, the 1st Incubator, and Accelerator for non-profit organizations in Greece, established in 2015 with a founding donation by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and HumanRights360, a civil society organization established in Greece in 2017. 


Kosovo

NGO LENS is a non-governmental organization, established in 2010 by communication and information technology experts, human rights activists and open society enthusiasts to contribute to the development of democracy and increase the quality of life through promoting use of modern technology, innovation and better access to information. 


Montenegro

Fund for Active Citizenship fAKT is an indigenous civil society grantmaking foundation, and as such, the only one in Montenegro. Established in 2008, fAKT contributes to positive change in communities, by supporting civic engagement and enhancing local philanthropy. 


North Macedonia

The Organization for Social Innovation “ARNO” was established in 2013 as organization with vision, talent, energy and resources to be the creative source for improvement of the communities. As socially innovative organization ARNO is brought to have commitment, readiness, and ability to innovate to respond to social problems. 


Serbia

Trag Foundation was established In 1999 with the aim of strengthening the civil society and development of philanthropy in Serbia. The mission of Trag Foundation is to contribute to active and open local communities by providing support to citizens’ initiatives in these communities.
